In most regions of Iran, there were two knockers on house doors having different sounds: one specially used by men and the other used by women. It seems it was necessary for chastity to be preserved in original ancient Iranian culture. As in various religions from Christianity to Judaism veiling has been acceptable and it is yet remarkable in traditional community of religion.
